I have a RX580 4GB

Will that work?

Yes, that should work. Check the box/guide/product specs to be certain but most cards since the RX480 support HDMI 2.0, I think. Performance-wise you probably know its limits by now. You're probably looking at setting between medium and high to get it consistently up towards 144 Hz.

If I can run for example BF1 on Ultra and get 70-100 frames can I keep it like that and still have my monitor run at 144Hz or will there be noticeable issues?

You'll have to look up what its "FreeSync range" is. There is a lowest frequency/refresh rate you have to stay above to avoid picture tearing. So, if the FreeSync range is 80-144 Hz you'll have to keep it between those two to keep a smooth tear-free image. The top end you usually avoid going above by setting a max rendering refresh rate on your graphics card, the bottom end is mostly decided by your card's performance.

Edit: Google said its range is 48-144 Hz. So, that's the minimum you'll have to keep above.

Basically I will be totally fine on ultra getting my normal FPS (70-100) if I stay above 48 FPS?

I’m just trying to avoid any drops in FPS. But maintain max quality.

You'll see when you try. Even if there isn't any tearing, you always want to keep as close to a monitor's max refresh rate for various reasons. Amongst other things, it simply looks better and the game is more responsive if the GPU isn't constantly at 100% load.

Yeah you’re right, I’ll test it out once I receive it tomorrow. Besides features I need to test out do you know if you cna lower the Hz, for example can I set my monitor to 120Hz.

Yes, you can do that.

Before I test it out, would you recommend ULTRA settings on BF1 70-100 FPS on 144Hz or 120Hz, or any other HZ you recommend?
