Freesync misaligns display screen

Hi, I have a problem with my MG248Q monitor. Whenever I turn freesync on the screen display gets moved slighty up so it gets cut off slightly on the top and a small black line on the bottom. Is there anyway to fix this?
The monitor does not seem to have any controls for screen alignment.

DDUing your driver and reinistalling?

If you don't know what DDU is it's Display Driver Uninstaller, a useful driver nuking tool. I use it basically every time I update drivers.
