Hey, I am a complete noob with monitors and stuff like that so I have one quick question, if I purchase a 144hz 1440p monitor with FreeSync and I have an Nvidia card will I still reach 144hz (Might be a silly question, but I have no idea when it comes towards monitors.)
I LEGIT have no idea

Freesync applies to amd cards.
It is a way to match the presentation frequency capabilities of the monitor to the frame generation capabilities of your graphics card.
It is probably not an issue unless you have a card capable of greater than 144 fps.
Otherwise the monitor operates normally.

There are other ways to handle disparate speeds. This article on fast sync which applies to nvidia GTX1xxx and 2xxx cards may explain:

The FreeSync will be unnoticed... Unless the new driverupdate on the 15th will support it. So you will reach 144hz of you GPU can go to 144fps.
And about the new driver update, it will be like G-Sync, so if it supports it, you can activate free-sync to not get shutter and stuff when under 144 fps.
Hope it explains
