Freesync on Aoc G2778VQ

Hi guys, new to forum

Bought monitor from tittle to replace my hp 23xi but im facing few problems and if anyone have solution id listen.

Monitor came with hdmi and dp cable that would connect to gpu which is Asus Strix RX480 8gb model.

Problems that occur is that i cant manage to enable freesync in amd program even if all cables are connected.

My refresh rate in windows shows 60hz and cant change it to 75hz.


Any ideas?

Many FreeSync monitors have a FreeSync option in the monitor's menu which must be enabled for it to show up as FreeSync-compatible in Windows.

I was looking through monitor menu but all i saw related to displauport settings was version of it, either 1.1 or 1.2...

Since im new to freesync, iv read somewhere that setting has to be on 1.2 to work properly but mine isnt...

I can do that in monitor menu and its on at 1.2
Ive installed driver for it monitor too but amd.overdrive under display settings is not showing capability of freesync and under windows options for refresh rate i cant chage it to higher than 60hz
