When I turn on the Freesync option from the monitor's menu, the screen goes black for 3 seconds, which is normal, as it is applying the settings. Then I go back into the monitor settings and it stays ON.
But when I check after a while, it gets disabled automatically.
Monitor is Acer KG241Q

Even though my graphics card is NVIDIA, This really benefits me, as there is no screen tearing at all. Even if I move the mouse aggresively, there is no tearing at all. I have not turned on VSYNC in any games. NVIDIA control panel is set to "Let the application decide".

All Specs:
Core i5 3470
GT 1030 GDDR5
12 GB RAM 1600 MHZ
Zebronics H61 Motherboard
Acer KG 241Q monitor.

I'm quite satisfied with these "Low specs" as I only play on low 1080p with 60 FPS on Battlefield 1, COD WW2.

Only cases I found where monitor turns it off by itself were in the cases of people with 2 monitors
i assume you using a display port

is the monitor showing in the G Sync tab in Nvidia control panel? are you enabling it there?
are you running screen at 144 in windows as the G Sync menu won't show unless you are.

I can't see anything specifically for that monitor turning Free sync off

I'm using HDMI. There is no display port on the GT 1030.

By the way, can you send me a pic of G sync tab in NVIDIA control panel?

It states that it supports G Sync when A DISPLAY PORT is present, but there is no display port of my GT 1030 (Galax White EXOC edition).

Well, it is likely reason free sync turns off as GPU isn't even trying to use it.

My last 2 monitors have been freesync, its only this 2nd one that actually is seen by GPU.

Maybe your next GPU will support it. My current GPU can't run games at my monitors native resolution and 144hz but maybe my next one will. I always think ahead, something to look forward to next time.
