Question Freesync vs DyAc

I've seen comparison videos of Freesync on and off and I prefer off. Though Freesync makes text clearer here, it adds more grain:

I also don't like G-Sync. I feel if you move mouse side to side, it stutters more than when its off:

Besides V-Sync, is there any other screen tear prevention software?

Something else that I discovered is higher fps, even with low hertz, still improves gaming performance. The quality is still better. But Freesync/g-sync are known to lock the fps.
