Freeze after new CPU

I bought an AMD fx-8350 and noticed my computer ran really slow and froze a lot. Clean installed windows 7 and its still going on, any ideas?

what is your motherboard? and what was your previous processor?

And what kind of RAM do you have installed? Have you tried removing any of the memory to see if the issue continues?

What is the model of your PSU? Cheap power supplies are often the cause of issues with high TDP processors like the 8 core FX chips, and well, issues with everything else too.

That happened to me a long time ago. It's maybe because your Motherboard doesn't support your CPU, try looking at the manufacturer website if the Motherboard you currently have supports the FX 8350.

I recommend that before you try anything else, see if your components are all compatible. Because upgrading only the CPU can give you issues.
