Hi,

I have a RX 6800 XT Red Dragon, and whenever I undervolt, I will randomly get a freeze upon startup of my PC which occurs within the first 30 seconds (will occur on windows login or shortly after logging in) intermittently. I have to manually restart my PC here, which resets the AMD settings, and my PC boots up fine.

No crashes during games, or overheating, only issue is during startup. I have tried a variety of undervolt settings, fast startup, running sfc scans/chkdsk with no luck. Any suggestions would be appreciated.

Bump up the voltage offset a little until the problem goes away.

Or instead, use MSI Afterburner and don't let it run on logon. This way the card remains at stock settings which presumably work, and when you want to play a game, launch it or just make it part of your startup routine.

I've tried running it at normal voltage, with power limit 15% on with no luck in Adrenalin.

Prefer not to use more software to manage it, but good workaround if I have to.

I don't have any issue with startup on stock settings. It only occurs when I undervolt, or even edit just the power settings.
Then I would chalk this up to a quirk with hardware. Not a problem per se, because it works fine on stock settings. If you still want to run the video card undervolted, then you're going to either have to find a way to not have it get undervolted from the get go or use some other workaround.
