Hi guys,
My old pc died this year do I had to build a new one.
From the start its had an issue with freezing, I ended up changing the setup on the memory timing best as I could as it wasn't doing it automatically.. which helped allot, but still freezes a fair bit.
It's mainly when browsing the net I notice, for example.. I can be using Chrome and it will freeze for up to 30 seconds... most of the time you can still change tabs and scroll but not load anything new, not even my computer!
Very rarely it will sometimes freeze the entire pc.
I can't say I've seen it ever freeze in game (Battle Field)
This is the memory timing, there's just so many settings I have no idea about, so not sure if its right or not!?
From what I found the timing should be - 9-9-9-27

Since getting the pc running initially I've changed the old GFX card to the one listed below and also put in a new network adaptor to rule that out.
Neither fixed the problem.
The only other thought it might be is the SSD, I read they can be a bit dodgy
I'm running..
Win7 Pro x64
MSI 970A-G46 AMD MOBO
AMD FX-6300 6-Core FX Series
120G KTC V300S37A/ 120G SSD
2GB MSI GTX650 OC PCI-E
Crucial 4GB DDR3 1866 MT/s (PC3-14900) CL9 @1.5V Ballistix Tactical Tracer UDIMM 240pin
OCZ ZS Series 650W 80+ Bronze PSU with 135mm Fan & single +12V Rail
Cheers Mark
