Freezing PC. I need help! 2015

My problem is... that yesterday all of the sudden my computer starts to freeze when ever I go to a web site with any kind of multi media. Same for games or anything really beyond just sitting there. It has progressively gotten worse since then.... only thing you can do is basic windows functions without freezes.


PC is only about 6 months old.

Here is my set up.

ASUS M5A99FX PRO R2.0 AM3+ AMD 990FX SATA 6Gb/s USB 3.0 ATX AMD Motherboard

AMD FD8350FRHKBOX FX-8350 FX-Series 8-Core Black Edition

Corsair CX750 Builder Series ATX 80 PLUS Bronze Certified Power Supply

Corsair Vengeance 8GB (1x8GB) DDR3 1600 MHz (PC3 12800) Desktop Memory 32 GB

Sapphire Radeon R9 270 2GB GDDR5 DVI-I/DVI-D/HDMI/DP Dual-X with Boost and OC Version PCI-Express Graphics Cards 11220-00-20G


Ive tried narrowing it down. I moved the hard drive to another PC and it works fine.

( I re installed windows just in case..... Still woudnt work on my freeezing PC. )



I moved the GPU to the other pc. ( works fine... no freezes )

I moved the ram ( no freezes )

The only parts I havent moved over are..... the mother board, PSU, CPU.

My CPU isnt compatible with my other PC.

WHAT SHOULD I DO NEXT......

Sounds like a virus to me. Have you done any virus scans?

but.. ive re installed windows... and it still freezes on the broken PC. While if I move it to my other PC it works fine and dandy.....

Move all of the storage to the other computer then format the drive. After that try and reinstall windows on that formatted drive.
