Question Freezing problem believe its to do with RAM

When I put my RAM on my mobo I didn't fully push it down and powered my computer on. Would this make my RAM faulty?

Yes, you need to push 'till you hear a click and you pc should be fine.

That wouldn't make it faulty unless you installed it while the PC was turned on. It would not cause freezing either. Freezing might be caused by your choice of memory or defective memory.

You should be able to complete a full pass with NO errors.

I cant access my pc at all because it wont get past windows download on a new pc so will I still be able to use this

it doesn't need windows to work, you install it to a usb and boot from the usb and run the memory tests for four full passes, and if you get 0 errors, the ram is ok, any error indicate bad ram. best to test them one at a time

memtest86 does not need an os.
You put it on a usb stick(or cd or floppy) and boot from that.
