Hello,
My monitor keeps saying "Frequency out of range" or would just completely shut down every time I browse on the net especially Facebook, YouTube, or just simply a news article. And playing games like Arma2 or sins of a solar empire. My computer still keeps running though. Pressing escape or ctrl alt delete does nothing and I would have to reboot manually. Some games that require a high amount of memory or refresh rate are fine though which baffles me. I bought my machine 2009 and its a gaming computer. My graphics card is an ATI radeon hd 4850, i7 CPU 920@2.67 ghz with 3 gb of ram. I never had problems before until now. I tried uninstalling/reinstalling the graphics card, checked if the software was updated, I opened it up to check for external damage on it or if it was loose, or if the motherboard somehow was fried but none of it seems to be the case. Checked all hdmi cables and connections and they were fine. Tried the driver cleaner pro as a last resort and that didn't work either. I've read from some folks that had the same problem had to replace their motherboard or computer. I really don't have the finances for a new one so I'm trying to do what I can for this one. Browsing the net on safemode sucks lol. Opinions anyone?
