Frequent bsods during or just before my PC gets to sleep mode

I'm using windows 8.1 64-bit. Driver verifier got me this DRIVER_VERIFIER_IOMANAGER_VIOLATION
Check code 0x000000c9
and cause of this is driver ntoskrnl.exe

NTOSKRNL = windows kernel. It handles all driver requests, power management, and memory management. It sits between Hardware and Applications. It got blamed but its not the cause

I will get someone to convert dump files so I can see what other drivers were running, its clearly not ntoskrnl or windows wouldn't even boot up. Something else is to blame.

BIOS information was not included in the dump file. This can sometimes mean you are using an older BIOS. Check for updates. Note: Updating your BIOS can be risky. Never try it when you might lose power (lightning storms, recent power outages, etc).

Is this an Asus motherboard? What model? Do you use AI Suite? I ask as you have two older Asus drivers installed and they commonly part of AI Suite and can cause errors. Asio.sys can mess with CPU settings.
Scarlet Crush (The PS3 controller drivers) can also cause BSOD

I use fairly simple Asus motherboard b150m-k. I use AI Suite all the time to install bios updates and change fan settings . 4-5 months ago had trouble with windows updates, they conflicted with AI Suite, also a bit later there was big security update that also caused bsods, I uninstalled all these updates. But that's when frequent bsods started to happen.Strange thing was that a temporary solution for me was turning off 3d screensavers, it gave 2 months without problems, also I read that MSI afterburner could cause some trouble, I got rid of it too.

if your bios is newer than IMEI it might be the cause of errors.

I wonder if its conflict between the newer bios and the older version of AI Suite. Newest version I see for win 8.1 is dated 29th Dec 2016 version Version 1.01.59&1.03.90

Updating Intel management interface engine might fix errors, you currently using a version dated 30 Oct 2017, newest was released 10 days ago

I installed it 3-4 days ago. I had troubles with aida 64 after updating nvidia drivers to a terrible version 397 .something, had performance troubles with it. Updating aida 64 didn't change anything with clean installation. Fixed it by clean uninstalltion with DDU , Aida64 stopped slowing my PC down, but then bsods started. I think that's the source of all my troubles: some conflict between nvidia drivers and Aida 64
