For a number of months, my gaming PC has been frequently crashing. Recently, it has been getting much worse. The crashing comes in many forms, mainly blue screens and strange display crashes.

Specs:
- Windows 7, 64 bit
- Processor: Intel Core i5-4670K Haswell Quad-Core 3.4GHz LGA 1150
- RAM: 8gb DDR3 1600
- Video Card: Powercolor HD 6950 2gb
- Motherboard: MSI Z87-G45

Blue Screen Messages: Irql_Not_Less_Or_Equal, Page_Fault_In_Nonpaged_Area, along with a few others i can't remember but those two seem the most frequent.

The other main crash is that my screen goes fuzzy like a TV without a cable then the computer restarts. I also have good bit of crashing to desktop, but i don't know if it's normal or related to this.

What I Have Tried:

  • - Video drivers up to date
    - Default graphics card and processor clock settings
    - Clearing viruses with Avast and Malwarebytes
    - Cleaning out dust and securing all hardware in place
    - Switching from dual video cards to single
    - Ensuring all temperatures are normal
Additional Notes:

  • - The crashing seems random, and happens both in and out of game
    - I use "System Mechanic"
    - I have a second PC in which the only difference is an HD 7850, it also crashes in similar ways but not as frequently

Thank you in advance for taking the time to help me!
