Recently, my PC started to hang very badly. So I decided to do a clean install of windows 7. After doing it hangs a lot and its not responsive. My PC didn't had any virus and I have also checked the hard disk for bad sectors with Seagate and other HDD TOOLS but no problem is reported. Could this be a problem of hardware. Which type of hardware RAM, HARD DISK, PSU

NOTE: My PC is 6 years old

My specs:

Intel core i3 3220 @ 3.3Ghz
Kingston Hyprex 4 GB DDR 3 Ram
Seagate 1 TB hard disk
Gigabyte H61M-S2P-R3 Motherboard

After clean install of windows 7 windows updates service is broken. This causes bad system performance.
You have to do manually install lot of hotfixes to fix this.

1. Install this

2. Install hotfixes listed here (windows update service has to be stopped)

3. Run windows update and fully update windows.

Sorry mine is a pirated version of windows. I am using the same copy for the past 6 years. No problem till date is it a hardware problem.

Why even admit this and why not even just update to Windows10? They give it away for free practically. Go download the installer from Microsoft and install windows 10, stop using pirated Windows. I have an idea of the problem, but you won't get help with pirated software on these forums.
