Fresh build Win 7 stuck on checking updates

pretty much as the title says fresh install of windows 7 pro and im stuck on it checking for updates i left it for about 3 hours and it just stayed at checking for updates very annoying http://i.imgur.com/XColQBG.jpg here is a pic of the current updates i have installed if the helps solve the problem
