tuf gaming z790 wifi d5, i9-13900kf, Nvidia geforce rtx 4090, Micron technology ddr5-4800 (2400mhz) 16gb (x2) My ram also has aemp disabled in bios which is the default setting and my bios has been reverted to default settings and around 1000 watt corsair psu (Cant remember exactly but i did alot of research to make sure it had enough power)

So i've been having consistent blue screens for a while and they dont seem to be related to anything specific, they are pretty random. I game alot and sometimes i can go days wihtout a blue screen blasting max performance on anything and other days i open my browser and blue screen, the error codes seem to always be different.

I removed my original ssd and harddrives to install windows on a new drive and then migrate all my files over, after installing windows on my new drive (I had a few weird blue screens and crashes when running the install media of of a usb from boot) i still get blue screens, most notably now when i copy alot of files but ive been browsing the internet for a few hours and no blue screen.

I normally would fight this to the very end and try to solve it myself but i am just lost on what to do and really need some help/advice, in the past i had ran all the checks i thought i should and it seemed like everything was fine (before resetting my windows) i have done no new tests and would really appreciate someone running me through the steps to troubleshoot this.

The last thing i did in the past hour was update my bios and the issue is still there.

I am begging for some help, i can do whatever you need to answer more questions

Any help would be greatly appreciated, im really struggling out here 😀

Recent minidumps (i hope they are the correct files) https://www.mediafire.com/file/n35x451rkay4mby/Minidumps.zip/file

And (System_service_exception) and (kmode exception not handled) are two that blue screens i can remember seeing recently

what files are you copying and when you made the windows boot media did you choose make for this pc or start from new it easily catches people out.
Oh whatever the default was i didnt see it, im on the same pc just different drive, and im copying files from my old windows drive that wont boot anymore, but games and server settings etc no windows files, i also just got (attempted execute of noexecute memory) blue screen

But like i said before copying files i was on the browser for along time with no issues

it sounds like one of the files on the drive might be the cuprit copy 1 file only 1 and see if it happens.

i would try also testing said drive on another machine and see if it will allow it to copy over if it freezes and blue screen the drive is corrupt.
This is good to hear, ill try some stuff and see what happens, i managed to copy a big chunk earlier and it was fine for 30 mins before blue screening and now it doesnt even get to the popup where it should say replace files yes or no, kindve strange

Also what do you mean by corrupt, wiping the drive would fix this ? Like certain files are corrupted ?

1 other possibility is ram is faulty you can test this with 1 stick in slot 2. and only in slot 2 leave the other stick out.

Man thankyou so much i honestly cant express how much i appreciate your help, ill try this soon once files are deleted and i try copy them etc, ive been thinking its ram related but ive had no evidence that it is, ive also deleted 400gb of files from my current c drive(not my old maybe corrupt one) and its not crashed yet.

Soon ill try copying the same files with the ram suggestion you made (getting to my old nvme is a pain its under my gpu) and if that still blue screens ive got a seperate pc i can test the copying files from the other drive(supposed corrupted one) and see if my other pc crashes too

honestly its fine its what the forum is for.

just remember to copy the files 2 or 3 at a time there could be a bad sector on any drive and the minute it hits that bad sector it will error out.
