Fresh install of OS vs. just loading chipset drivers?

I am swicthing mobo's going from a Z77m-D3H- MVP to a Z77x-UD3H should I do a fresh install of OS or just load chipset drivers?

both are z77 chipsets the driver should be loaded. if windows does not start right you might have to boot into safe mode and remove the devices in the device manager and reboot.

If you're running a newer version of windows you may have problems with switching the motherboard. I'm not 100% sure but I've heard that it could make your copy of windows invalid. I've changed motherboards on windows xp and didn't have a problem, but never tried it on vista, 7, or 8.

You maybe need re-activate the OS like win7, if you can boot up. And both of the MB have the same chipset driver you don't need reload it.
