Question Fresh Install - Personalization Tweaks, especially before updating a non-activated version

For activated and non-activated versions, what personalization tweaks are recommended right after a fresh install? For non-activated versions (installing offline with a local account), the ability to personalize remains open until Windows updates and turns off personalization. For example, adding desktop icons from Themes works at first but is grayed out after updating online.

Some of the tricks like changing Wallpaper are easy after personalization is turned off, but what other tweaks have some of you found that you would do while you still can before updating? I know these tweaks differ from person to person, and what is convenient to one person may not matter to another. But activated or not, what tweaks do some of you always do after every fresh install? This could be a fun list. Thanks.

Disable drive indexing if you have more than 1 physical drive on your platform. Turn off Disk Defragmentation. Migrate all User folders onto secondary drive.

Are you going to eventually Activate this install, with a valid license?

This one, probably, but I have a lot of old computers set up in my garage for LAN party or small group in person gaming. So these are some good tricks to have in my tool box.
