Fresh Restart with Windows 8.1?

How would I go about doing a complete fresh restart with windows 8.1? I heard that doing it from the pc settings tab it will revert back to windows 8 if you had that before hand, but I upgraded from windows 7. What would happen? Thanks

Still run it from the PC settings. When you upgraded from 7 it pretty much wiped 7 off of your drive. If you upgraded from 7 to 8 then doing so will reset teh system to Win 8 BUT if you upgraded from win 7 to Win strait to 8.1 it will revert back to win 8.1.

If it reverts to win 8 all you need to do is update win 8 fully then run the update to go to 8.1.
