I bought a used PC, It has a copy of windows 10 Enterprise on it, and it is an activated copy as well.

I am looking to do a fresh install of windows on this device, and have a windows 10 ISO USB boot drive (ISO from microsoft's website) . But am running into an error message after typing in my product key. there is a short dely and the error comes up as:

"the product key entered does not match any of the windows images available for installation. Enter a different product key."

Do I need a different ISO boot drive for windows 10 enterprise?

I am quite familiar with the steps in doing a fresh install and I have done iton many different machines, I have never dealt with the enterprise version of windows 10 though.\

Any help is appreciated.

Thanks

If it has an activated Windows installation, you shouln't need a Windows key. If you have the machine tied to your Microsoft account, it should automatically activate when you get online.

Keys are for new installations, otherwise, once installed and activated it gets a "Digital entitlement" and just needs you to log into the MS account it's linked to.
