Friday the 13th Game / UE - Launch Error: Access Denied.

Hey all,

I've sent bug errors to the devs etc, but I'm hoping this is something I can fix on my end.

Upgraded hardware, reinstalled Windows, Drivers & Steam - Redownloaded Friday the 13th: The Game, and I get "Launch Error: Access Denied".

Suspected it related to EasyAntiCheat, but repairing nor uninstalling/reinstalling does anything to fix the error.

Looking around online, I checked the launcher found:
Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\F13Game\SummerCamp\Binaries\Win64

Looked like some progress, into screen will actually start, but then a fatal error crashes everything out:

Really, really strange as I've never had any sort of major issue with the game since launch.... but as soon as I upgrade!

Any thoughts would be appreciated - I've verified game files in Steam etc, no dice.

UPDATE.
Clean installed W10 home on my secondary SSD, only ran Windows Update and then installed Steam/F13. Success.

Reinstalled on my 950 Pro, and all good now.
Very odd, but looks like the underlying issue was in the Windows install.

Further update.

So, after a while, the issue reappeared.

Luckily, I've been able to isolate - the problem was with ASUS Aura.        Somehow it was triggering EAC and, after a quick Google search it doesn't appear to be uncommon.

Force stopped "lightningservice.exe" and everything fires up as it should.
