Gpu: 970
Psu: 600w

So my computers been acting up lately. Randomly turned off one time and when I booted it back up I was playing some games. Then in the middle of my session my screen turns solid green and all sound cut out. My computer was completely frozen not even the reset button worked. I held the power and turned it off. Then in my next session it happened again and I decided it might have been a faulty or old PSU since it did just turn off on me. I replaced the PSU and played for about 5 hours. Then my PC comepletely shut off and wouldn’t boot In the middle of a gaming session. The pc won’t boot when my gpu is plugged into the psu with the 6+2 pin and 3 pin. All I get it my mobo flashing for a split second when I hit the power button. When the gpu isn’t plugged in everything works fine. So is this a faulty pcie slot or gpu? I can’t use the other pcie slot and check because of space.

The gpu is a gigabyte about 4 years old so I think the warranty is out the door. When my computer shut off I did open it up to see that the gpu was pretty hot. Assuming the fans mighta stopped and it fried. I put it into another pc and same thing happened leaving me to believe it’s the gpu and not the pcie slot but thank you for your help!
