Hey guys,
Basically my PSU had itself a little explosive accident last Thursday. So I bought a new PSU (Corsair TX650w), and using other spare components:
- Asus m5a78l-m-lx plus motherboard
- nVidia GeForce 210
- AMD Athlon xII 260
This motherboard was still in the box, so the BIOS hasn't been updated, anyone know if the CPU is supported by default by the motherboard?
Chances are the RAM was fried, as the with it, the PC won't boot (don't have any spare RAM right now).
So either RAM is fried, or motherboard doesn't support this CPU by default. No doubt I will have to buy more RAM then, but I hope I don't need another low-end CPU.
Thanks for reading
(Also!! I am new to PC building!)
