Friend can hear himself on Discord cause my microphone

It started to happen lately and i still dont know how to fix it.

I have Headphones but without microphone, i have desk microphone or whatever its called.

Turn down your volume through your headset, or maybe just put yourself on push to talk, that's probably the easiest fixes I can think of, hope this helps!

Welp i already tried it, my friend can no longer hear my sound from headphones but he still hear himself.

Do you have an option turned on in the Windows control panel, something called either What you hear or line in, it can repeat what you hear through your headset into the mic

Are you playing the same game with your friend during this time? Is your in game mic on or something? Also, you said your sound comes from your headset, what kind of mic are you using?

I found out it doesnt matter what microphone im using, my friend can still hear himself.
Im using Trust GXT 322 Headset.

nope, but when i plug it back he can (logically)

Okay, just making sure this is something on your end. Your in-game mic is muted while playing right? So you arn't speaking twice, once through discord and once through game?

Well when i mute mic. they stop hearing themselfs. Also im not playing games right now and they can hear themselfs.

So it is definitely coming from your mic then. How close is your microphone to you? Sometimes mics will pick up background noise if it is at a moderate level, move your mic a little further away and try.

It doesnt matter how far is my mic. away from me, they will still hear themselfs. Ive tryed this.

Well I believe this is narrowed down to something in your settings, or your friends are trolling you super hard. Go into your discord settings and make it so your voice is harder to detect.

Okay ill try but im 100% sure my friends are not trolling me cause ive started a call with a guy who didnt called me for like a week and he first complained about that he can hear himself.

Welp i fixed it by myself but you deserve select. I changed Output device from (razer surroud audio) to (realtek audio).

Ah, I was unaware you were using Razer audio, I have actually seen this problem a few times. Glad you got it sorted!
