Friend has a $300 pc 2nd hand, only plays csgo and css, need a cheap gpu

Well my friend has got a cheap $300 2nd hand pc and gets poor fps on his pc, what would be a good enough gpu just to get him around the 90ish fps on his pc. thanks guys and oh btw max amount of money to spend is less than $100 au

Without checking, I would assume he probably has around a 300W generic PSU. In this case, the best he can probably do without also upgrading the PSU is the GTX 750Ti -- as long as it's one that doesn't require PCIe power connections.

However...without knowing the rest of the specs, it's impossible to tell if there's a better GPU that would go well with his CPU & RAM combination, as well as whether he has a decent PSU or should invest in a better one (which would also allow for a better GPU).
 
i have to agree with spdragoo on this one.

The safest bet would be to get a 750Ti because that thing sips power while still performing great for your stated use-case.
If you can confirm that the power supply is a bigger capacity, check for a 6-pin power connector.

If it has one, you could go for the GTX 950. It performs significantly better, but needs that 6-pin auxiliary power.
