I've got a friend who is looking to get a Gaming Rig but wants to buy the components and build it himself. His budget is £450 and doesn't want to spend more than £500.

Solution
In the first build the CPU can upgraded to the 8600K/8700/8700K and for GPU's it'll take anything up to the 1080 ti. The second one can be upgraded to the 7700K and will take the same for GPU's. If your friend can get the first build I'd highly recommend it as it has a better upgrade path but also the CPU is much better then the G4560.

CPU Difference.

How much potential does this build have to be improved in the future. RAM is obivoulsy an easy one but what top range CPU's and GPU's are compatible with the MOBO.

Prices for ram on part picker are all wrong.

Thats what I'd do personally.

Is the ASRock Motherboard good? I heard it has a design flaw that causes it to freeze and crash after a couple of months of use.
