Title says it all, my friend is building a gaming computer... He will only use one screen @ 1440p.. I personally think 3GB purely because 6GB of VRAM is too much.. but i could be wrong ... please respond

780ti would do for most of the games at that resolution except watchdogs. It uses more than 3 GB of VRam.
hmmm well he did say that he wants to play Watch Dogs on max... but i heard that Ubisoft will be releasing a patch were the optimisation is better.. but who knows when though..
I would recommend r9 290X then it has the power and the VRAM needed.
