Friend says his 970 SLI can run any game max settings over 60fps with 4k, is this possible?

He has an I7, I forget which but he said it's one of the newest ones a couple months ago. Not sure about the rest of his rig.
My problem is he's constantly rubbing it in my face and making fun of my i5-7600k and rx480 which I paid more for then he did for his used rig. (╥﹏╥)
From what I've read this SHOULDNT be possible, and I'd like to ask him to record a video of him running a game like that with fps showing to proove it, so should I ask him to play the Witcher or something else?

Any thoughts?

Solution
sli GTX970 will win many synthetic fps benchmarks.
But, gameplay will be better with a good single card.
sli is prone to stuttering, screen tearing and non support in some games.

He may very well have a very good gaming machine.
Ask him to demonstrate it to you.

And... your 480 is no longer a top tier graphics card. If it is not doing the job for you look to something several tiers better.

Have you overclocked your 7600K?
