Question Friends can not see Burger King wifi on laptops

I have no issue connecting to the wifi, it just shows up in the list, I connect, goes to a sign in page with a button says connect. I am on with both laptop and phone. My two friends however do not see the open connection, only the secure ones. They even see the BK Office but it is locked/secure. They tried asking but lol it's BK, they know nothing. The router gets reset as the power goes off during storms (it is Florida) so its not needing that, done most of the simple things, restart, etc. Strangely one of them cant get on with phone either. Any help from the famous toms hardware forums would be great.

Some devices/systems can have their wifi settings configured to only allow them to connect to secure networks. Are your friends' devices configured this way?
