CPU;i7-8700k
GPU: Radeon 6600 challenger D
MainBoard: Asus Tuf z3700-Pro gaming
hdd: unknown
sdd: N/A
PSU: Thermaltake TR2-500NL2NC ATX12V & EPS12V Power Supply

he swapped from a nvidia card to radeon the other day,
Is this a driver issue or is the PSU too weak?

Thanks for the help

Did he remove the Nvidia graphics driver with DDU before installing the Radeon one?

Also, AMD cards (drivers) can have this kind of issues with some anti-aliasing methods. Tell your friend to use Adrenalin to try different methods and see if it improves. He can also try to enable Anisotropic filtering (it helped me when I had a radeon card and weird textures like this). And of course, disabling FSR should be among the first things to try.

he jsa ys he just manually deleted old ones after installing the Radeon, i linked him this
https://forums.tomshardware.com/faq...n-install-of-your-video-card-drivers.2402269/
so he will try a fresh driver reinstall

also where would he disable FSR, in adrenalin or in monster hunter

If the game supports it, there will be an option in the in-game settings to disable it.
its disabled in game and in adrenaline, it stayed the same

heres what his main menu looked like yesterday, we replaced the psu and it looks the same

our next idea is uninstall and reinstall drivers using the linked guide above

What do you mean recommended card? Do you mean in the recommended specs for the game?

What about other games? If only one game does that it's likely not a hardware issue.
its only happening in monster hunter wilds, its the recommended card on the steam page

none of these issues are happening in other games, (only played mine craft and marvel rivals)

so right now he is uninstalling both nvidia and Radeon drivers, then he'll install radeon drivers,

i hope its not a hardware issue
