Question Friends GPU

Hello!

Soo,my friends pc broke and he whants me to see if his gpu is still working.Soo iam asking if his gpu is broken or something can it damage my motherboard or my pc?I know a loot about pc parts but when i need to do something on my pc i get scared if i would damage it.

Depends on why it broke and what is happening in his system.
Usually is fine, just make sure you have the PSU to actually support it otherwise you could cause a problem.

I think i do.My gpu is GTX 1060 3GB and his gpu is AMD RX560
