Question Friends PC won’t seem to boot.

Specs..

Board - MSI Tomahawk 450
CPU - 2600-2700x (not sure)
RAM - Ballistix 3200

Computer boots but won’t display on screen. I’ve checked the normal things. Just checking here for some advice.

He said that he thinks it’s a gpu issue, but I’m not sure.

You need to provide more details. Which GPU is it actually ? Does your friend has the latest BIOS installed on his system ? Is the screen totally blank, or he can at least see the BIOS POST screen ?

Clear all the CMOS/BIOS settings and then try again. What's the make and model of his Power supply unit ? Does he get any kind of beeps on startup ?

GPU - Radeon 5700


I’m not sure about the rest because I can’t get to BIOS.
