If the flip board option does not work, you could try to manually
change it in the GUI8.ini file.
This file is located in the directory
C:\Documents and Settings\-yourname-\Application Data\ChessBase
\ChessProgram8
If you can't locate the directory, it is probably hidden. You have
to enable the view of this hidden folders by opening the windows
explorer and choose something similar to
options > folder options > display tab.
Heré you'll find the option to show hidden folders.
Now locate the folder and the GUI8.ini file. It's a simple text
file, you can open it by double clicking it.
Search for the line
TurnBoard=
in the [playing] section.
Change the value to 2 and save the file. See if that works. If the
value 2 is already in place, you might try to copy the GUI8.ini file
to a safe place and restart Fritz; you've lost all your setting.
Input all your settings again and see if the porblem is solved. If
so, the ini-file might have been corrupt, if not, you can transfer
your old file back - in that case there must be another problem.
