From 1920x1080 to 1600x1050 with geforce 1050ti

Hi, so once my resolution have suddenly changed from 1920x1080 to something like 1024x768 and i thought i have just killed the ghraphic card, so i bought a new one- geforce gtx 1050ti,installed newest drivers, but now i cant go over 1600x1050. I tried plugging it into my 4k tv and the resolution went on 4k. Whats wrong? Cheers for any help

What os are you using? If you are using windows please right click your desktop and select display settings, then click advanced settings and change the resolution, can you change it there?

Well, it shows me an option to change it to 1920x1080 but the screen gets too wide and is reaching out of the monitor

Try downloading the newest drivers for your gpu, if you already have the newest version of the drivers, try reinstalling them.
