Hi all
Iam looking at breathing a bit of life into my rig, nothing special, just to last me a couple more years. I currently have a core i5 2550k @3.40GHz and 8 gigs of 1600mhz of ram with two 7950 oc editions in crossfire. As I said, nothing special, I was looking at getting a ssd, as I have a hdd and also a Radeon Fury NITRO 4096 HBM gpu. I have looked on youtube to see if I could find a benchmark between the two, but come up short, so I thought I would ask you guys, would one Fury NITRO be a jump in performance against 2 7950`s in crossfire. This is what iam looking at https://www.overclockers.co.uk/sapphire-radeon-fury-nitro-4096mb-hbm-pci-express-graphics-card-with-backplate-11247-03-40g-gx-377-sp.html and this is my price range. Many thanks
Kind regards
Andy

We see here that the 7950 is about the same as a 270x at 1080p
https://www.techpowerup.com/reviews/AMD/R9_270X/26.html

We see here that the Fury is about twice as fast as the 270x
https://www.techpowerup.com/reviews/ASUS/R9_Fury_Strix/31.html

WE see here that the 7950 in CF is about 1.5 times as fast as one 7950,
https://www.techpowerup.com/reviews/AMD/HD_7950_CrossFire/23.html

so....

The Fury is 2 x as fast as the 7950
2 x 7950 is 1.5 times as fast as the 7950

You can expect the Fury, on average, to be about 1.33 times faster than the CF 7950s.
