Hi , lately I've wondering about buying a PS3 since I've missed some console only multiplats and the exclusives by having a Gaming PC and a Nintendo Wii.
The 360 is also a good choice since it can be modded and an extra controller for my pc would come in handy. But the PS3 has the best exclusives out of the 2 consoles and overall it's much more popular where I live than the 360 which would be better for online gaming and trading games.
Here's my doubt : Even if my rig is not top of the line , it's more powerful than the PS4 already. I've playing console ports in 1440p or more most of the time , hitting 60 FPS. In other words , I've been spoiled. So... won't consoles be a dissapointment? There aren't any games that I've REALLY wanted to play , but i reckon there are 20 or 30 cool games I am not able to play right now.
So would it be a good choice spending say 500/ 600 USD in an old console and games or would it be better to save that money to upgrade my rig? I don't need to upgrade right now but in a couple of years with that money you will be able to build a beast of a rig if you keep some spare parts.
