Yes, but physicists use quantum for extremely small things only. Like "Quantum World" - much in the same way as mathematicians use the greek "Epsilon" for a small, but still measurable (BTW, "measurable" was also in quantum's definition) amount. That is what I meant. A quantum jump in physics is not only a sudden/abrupt increase/decrease, but also a small one - as in electronic states in classic atomic theory (according to Bohr)... Or adjacent discrete energy level jumps in quantum physics or something... That's from were I know these words...a) a required or allowed amount b) a share or portion
But I must admit that, from what I read in the dictionary right now, your use of the word might be acceptable... (it is highly unusual for me, but hey, I try to keep my mind open)...
I'll try! Thanks... Maybe HT will help me surf the net while I play Mp3 and edit Word documents without stuttering my god damned mu-mu-music! It's annoying! I'm hoping to upgrade by the end of the year, given my current income... (who knows, maybe prescott? A little Scotty for me? ooohh yeeeesss DOOM 3!)Now go get ur "quantum leap"
