Okay so just a little background story; A few days ago, my PC turned off and on by itself while i was using it and when it then came back on, it eould not display any image to my monitor. I have tried all the solutions out there and I'm pretty sure it is my graphics card that is the problem.

Alright so now you know what's up. My question is, if i were to swap out my AMD Radeon Sapphire R9 390 for a NVIDIA GTX 1080, how can i do so when i can't get an image so i cant delete AMD drivers or install NVIDIA ones..

Thanks in advance!

Solution
Doesn’t matter. Just put the 1080 in and Windows will install the default drivers for it.

Then use DDU to completely remove the AMD drivers and then download and install the latest Nvidia driver.
