Hi guys

I have a Gigabyte Aorus B450-i Pro Wifi Motherboard with a Ryzen 1600x that i plan to upgrade to the new Ryzen 4000 Series when they come.

But yesterday my Mb desided it would fry it self:( So now i need to Rma it, since it's only 4 month old.
But now i'm thinking if it would be better to get the X570 mb instead? I have talked with the shop where i got my B450 and they will either ship me a new mb, or i could get a X570 instead for about 140$ extra (from my original price from the B450)

I know the X570 don't support my 1600x cpu, so i would have to get a cheap used 2-3000 cpu, while i wait for the 4000 series to be released.

So, should i upgrade to the X570 or stay with the B450?

Thanks

x570 and b550 are guaranteed...

x570 and b550 are guaranteed to work with Zen 3 while discussion is still on if older chipsets will be supported, it's mainly up to MB manufacturer.
Another option is to wait until July 7th when sales of B550 MBs will commence, they will be equivalent to b450.
