I have had BSOD off and on for a while and decided to upgrade my system.
First started testing stuff to find my problem. Memtest showed my Ram had errors. Bought a new shiny 32Gb upgrade then tested with Memtest. That showed errors so time ta get a new CPU. Ok still have errors on the ram??? Was thinking of RMA on the motherboard an excellent MSI one. HMMMMM More testing with Memtest, read the manual's, spent hours testing my old ram and the new kit. Then I found this:

I wish I had read that 2 weeks ago. And I'm not complaining about Memtest as its' been around a very long time and is a most excellent piece of software, everyone should have it, its Free and it works. And as I always test stuff under load with some OC, that was my problem. Now back ta testing ram.
I hope this help ya'all out

MSI B550 Tomahawk
Ryzen 5 5600x
MSI Armor RX580 8Gb OC
EVGA Supernova 750 G2 80+Gold P.S.
Corsair Vengeance LPX 32Gb 3600Mhz 2x16Gb
Artic Air cooler 34e sport
Gamemax Blackhole PC Case
WD SN850X 2Gb
WD 6Tb
and more......
And Way Too Many Games on Steam

P.S. I do have a problem with my Bios as Memory try it never works most of the time a the system will lockup with no reboots on errors ever. I have had some luck with few OC selections but all have errors and some showed over 3000+ errors in memtest when I stopped it. Still thinking of RMA on the Motherboard

is there a question somewhere?
I need to test my system to see if my motherboard is at fault for all the ram errors, also anytime I even think of OC ram I get so many errors in memtest I cant trust my system, so where to go from here? So how ta test the MB? Should I send the MB for RMA or buy a new one? Help please

NOTE: the Corsair ram passes memtest at stock 2133Mhz, but XMP 1&2 invoked fails even as setup as per Corsair.

I would say bad memory.
Set XMP/DOCP to the 3600 then manually lower the speed to 3200 or 3000 and increase the voltage from 1.35 to 1.38 run memtest again.

EDIT The motherboard really has very little to do with it it's just a link from the memory controller in the processor and the memory. You could also try updating the motherboard BIOS a lot of times the updates are for better memory compatibility.

New CPU and New ram, It has ta be a bad Motherboard. The latest Bios locked out most of my OC setting so I flashed a step older. I will try your suggestions though, Thanks

When I try to change Dimm voltage in Bios or almost anything else I get a red/ and Auto in bright Blue, no matter what I do I can't change it. I tried snapshots and bios saved them to my USB, BUT their not there. I set XMP then changed freq. from 3600-3200, about the only thing i can change. LOL System does nothing after reboot, blank screen, then with power button, power down and restart and the red CPU light comes on and the system locks up, have ta kill the power at the power supply and reset the bios by pulling the batt, or with the jumper, then I can get it back up and running.

I need ta sale my used parts on Ebay and can't do that unless I can test them, only way I can see it is to buy a new MB. And if it is Ram then I can RMA it with no problems, But I had problems with my old ram and CPU which I replaced and this MB acts like Its possessed by something evil.

Zerk2012 A tip of the hat and Kudos to you Sir.

I had an issue with my keyboard which some keys were set for mouse functions. LOL Major problem while trying ta change settings in Bios, fixed it! Did as you suggested invoke XMP then 3600-3200 and set Dimm V to 1.38, worked and passed memtest! Then tried 3600, well nothing worked in bios after that and could not get 3200 working either. LOL so after resetting Bios 3-4 times and trying different settings. nothing passed memtest then 3200 kicked in and passed even with PBO set yeoowza. so I got were I wanted as 3600+ someday but its good ta go Now! Thanks for your time in this.

Questions: What's a Safe Max V. for Dimms? Corsair Vengeance LPX 32Gb 3600Mhz 2x16Gb.
And I had couple of problems before and after my upgrades:
RYZEN 5 3600 and a set of Ripjaw 8Gb Dimms, the sticks passed 3600 memtest no problem. So all my ram is good

1. WD 6Tb HD started to rumble like its tearing its self apart, was testing a game benchmark and had ta shut down and pull the SATA, Hardware monitor show it was 100% active but every thing running had nothing ta do with the Drive. Should of been like 6%, Changed SATA ports fix it. Any ideas? RMA? Drives like 2 months old and no problem before or after the events.

2. WD SN850X 2Gb C:\ drv. went corrupt twice about the same time as the WD events, Was lucky Win10 fixed it at bootup. I have it all backuped, even Win10 restore on USB, so I pulled the SN850X till I get this resolved, may pull the MB and give it a once over with a microscope. So Where shall I look? A short or lose power conn?.......
