i'm using Hyperx Cloud Alpha 2.5 years - and want to buy Arctis Pro + GameDAC.

will i feel any noticeable improvement on sound quality ?

In all honesty, the perception of sound varies from one individual to another. Some can notice the ticking of a fan motor in spite of the fan being undervolted while the same fan in it's undervolted state doesn't cause any reaction on another individual.

To note, what sort of a soundcard are you working with(tethered to your analog HyperX headset)?

They will sound different, I have used Clould Alphas and a few Arctis sets, they have pretty distinct sound difference between them. Which one you would like better you will need to decide after listening to them. To me the Arctis sounded a bit cleaner and more even sound, maybe more crisp. The Cloud Alpha had a darker more deep tone with more bass feel. Both were "good" sounding, for me I preferred the Arctis if I only could pick one. If you keeping the other set then they are different enough to swap between them as you feel like and have a different sound.
