Okay so I've got a friends computer and she wants windows 8 installed on it. Since I've had problems activating Windows 8 before I want to know which process is best to properly activate pirate version of W8 and also should I choose 8.1 or just 8?
Also I want to keep OEM recovery partition of Windows 7 intact because from experience people have come back demanding windows 7 so I want to be able to install the OEM version back if she changed her mind. The problem is that I've done this before but didn't find a way to preserve this recovery partition since windows 8 demands to change partition mode in bios (which is different than windows 7 uses) and when I did that all the data and partitions were wiped out.
So basically I want to install windows 8 and still preserve system recovery partition of oem windows 7. Please help..
