I have a BenQ 24" TN 60Hz panel (RL2455HM) I wanna upgrade to some IPS panel. Idk about resolution, For me. 1080p is acceptable on a 24" ,but I want a bigger one. like 27" or 30". And for that 1440p would be nice ˆ ˆ. 60Hz is fine with me. Any suggestions?

If you're wanting a bigger monitor then go with the 1440p and when...

Our systems are almost identical so I would recommend a 24" 1080p 60Hz monitor. The 1060 is a great GPU for 1080p gaming. When you start going up in resolution it requires a lot more GPU power than the 1060 can produce. If you don't care about running on medium settings and your fine with low settings then it would be playable in some games.

I want a bigger one. And 1080p looks bad on 27". Shouldnt I just buy a 1440p panel and lower res? I wouldnt have to upgrade to anything better in a longer time.

If you're wanting a bigger monitor then go with the 1440p and when you game play in 1080p windowed mode. That is what I did when I was running a 4k monitor. You could possibly play 1440p on some games but you would need to run lower settings.
