[SOLVED] Front audio jack causes "flickering" through headphones ?

Hi everyone,

Recently, my front panel audio jack hasn't been working well. When I tried to plug a headphone in, the pc does detect it but the signal was "flickering" constantly. The rear audio jack works fine. Here's my spec:

• CPU: AMD Ryzen 5 3600
• Mobo: Asrock B450M Steel Legend
• Case: kenoo esport g562

I thought my case connection was faulty, so I changed to a new one. But the issue still persists. Even though I've re-seated the HD Audio pin several times, it doesn't go away.

My question is, is this issue related to my motherboard, or my case? Any help will be much appreciated. Thank you.

I have this exact problem with the same cpu and mb, just my case is the battlecruiser xpg, it freezes all the cpu when y conect them in front

I fixed it by changing the "Onboard Audio" settings in the mb bios from "hd" to "ac97". You should try it.
