Hello,
I have motherboard MSI G3 H87 gaming motherboard.
A circle cabinet i dont know model number so i attahced the pic
d973X5
.

Both front & back audio ports were working fine till i updated to windows 10.
Now only the back audio port is working.
Front mic & audio both are not working. There is no detection sound as well when i enter the jack into the front ports.
There is a wire called AC97 that i got with the circle cabinet for the front port, i removed & reattached it to the mobo but still no difference.

Solution
no it seems your setting are correct , now in the previous screen you have the correct devices set as your default ones ?
for example I use my output in the back and split it for speakers and headphones, ()because I don't want wires running from the front of case)
so I use speaker output for default sounds, and my headphone mic for all voice inputs.

so it looks like this.. maybe you need to make sure these are also set correctly.

if that doesn't work I suggest you uninstall the drivers, then goto device manager and uninstall the realtek sound device (accepting to remove device drivers, ) reboots your system and let windows rediscover it completely. it could...

MSI H87 Gaming 3 MS-7918 is written in CPUZ.
I installed all the latest updates via MSI live update.
I dont why the ports not working..........🙁
