Question front io port audio crackling!!

i recently built my first gaming pc. Whenever i plug the audio cable into the audio jack at the front, the mic makes a horrible crackly sound but the headset audio is fine.

the case that am using is the corsair spec delta rgb.

This, unfortunately, is fairly common. The quality of front panel connections can be an issue.

Make sure that the front panel audio connector is firmly attached to the motherboard header. You can also trace the front panel wires to make sure none have been damaged or loose.
