It has a regular pin connector to plug into my fan controller, as the other 3 fans in my Thor V2 case, but it also has a Molex connector, I'm assuming for the LED. The other 3 fans in the case aren't LED, only the front.

A tech support person emailed me & said to NOT connect the fan's molex to the PSU. He said to only connect the main fan controller molex to my PSU.

So, what do I do with the LED Fan molex connector? leave it unplugged, use some type of adapter & plug it in somewhere else?

What's wrong with connecting it to the PSU, along with the case fan & LED connector molex's?

Case: Thor V2
Mobo: MSI Z270 SLI
PSU: EVGA SuperNOVA G3 550W

The tech support person is correct. The fan comes with two options, you can either plug it into the motherboard, which allows you to monitor speed and things in the BIOS or other monitoring applications. If your motherboard did not have a header for the fan to plug into, that's when you would use the molex to power the fan. Do not use both.

So, I guess I just put an end cap on the front LED Fan's molex connector & leave it unused.

Because my case has 2 molex connectors for the fan controller, both of which will be connected to my PSU.

So, I'll just plug each of my 4 case fans to my case fan connectors & leave it at that.

Now I'm unsure if that front fan will have it's lights turned on this way or not. I guess I'll see when I get everything hooked up.
