I recently replaced an MSI 760GM-P34(FX) with an MSI 760GMA-P34(FX) inside of a RAIDMAX Pogona MATX-136B.

Prior to replacing the motherboard, the front LED next to the power switches was blue but now it's red. Any idea how to diagnose what caused this? Perhaps I goofed with the LED pins? I'm fairly certain I plugged them in properly.

Thanks!

that diagnosis is probably correct if you connect the io panel sideways instead of the long way. This is pretty common, but most times the power is also connected incorrectly so not sure how It turned on.

here is a basic pic of how to connect but your mother board probably has a better diagram http://www.lian-li.com/en/faq/how-to-connect-panel-led-and-io-port-to-your-motherboard/
leds don't change colors.
You may have hooked up a previously unhooked up (or plugged into the wrong slot) led.
Double check your front panel connections in the motherboard manual and what they're labeled as.
I noticed the case seems to have a blue LED front fan, did you replace the front fan?

Does that case have one of those blue power and red drive read/write going to a single diffuser. I recall those being quite popular when blue LEDs first hit the common consumer market. If you swapped them, it would make a lot of sense.
