Question Front panel connectors not working

The front panel connector doesnt seem to work i checked if the case button cables are working using a multimeter and they do then i checked the motherboard manual to find the power button pins and then connected everything together but it doesnt start up i then tested to use the screwdriver trick but nothing happens, is there a way to check if the 2 pins on the motherboard are working using the multimeter or anyway to find the problem?

What specific front panel connections aren't working?

If the screwdriver method failed to start the system, you may have a different issue altogether.

What are the specs for this rig?

Test powersupply next, short the 2 pins in the 24 pin connector.

Update: I was able to figure out how to check if the power pins where working but looking how much volt was going through them and it was 3.35v but that means that the front panel pins are not the problem that the pc doesnt boot up, so theres then another problem. Heres some info i bought a new motherboard, cpu and ram and for some reason doesnt work together this is not my first building a pc but never had this problem before

So power turns on but your not getting power?
How about fans? Any Leds, if not try a different power supply.

update: my cpu power cable was not correctly mounted and didnt give the cpu any power
